Michael Mariot - Outrighted to Triple-AMariot passed through waivers unclaimed and was outrighted Thursday to Triple-A Louisville, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
ImpactMariot was pushed off the 40-man roster Tuesday after making his first major-league appearance since 2016 on Monday against the Mariners. The 34-year-old right-hander will remain part of the Reds organization for the time being.

Blake Dunn - Old, dominant at Double-ADunn is hitting .347/.439/.577 with 14 home runs, 33 steals and a 23.7 percent strikeout rate in 70 games for Double-A Chattanooga.
ImpactDunn is a tough prospect to evaluate, as he just turned 25 years old earlier this week before playing a game at Triple-A, and he as been quite lucky on balls in play (.433 BABIP) at Double-A. On the flip side, he logged a 179 wRC+ at Single-A in 2022, a 149 wRC+ at High-A this year and a 168 wRC+ at Double-A, so he has only succeeded, and he has primarily played center field, so we're not talking about a player who is already at the bottom of the defensive spectrum. Dunn does not need to be added to the 40-man roster this offseason, but he will likely get an invitation to big-league spring training before opening 2024 with Triple-A Louisville.

Edwin Arroyo - Strong finish at High-AArroyo is slashing .293/.376/.508 with nine home runs, 24 steals and a 19.4 percent strikeout rate in his last 79 games for High-A Dayton.
ImpactHis season line (.257/.332/.444) and 116 wRC+ are strong for a good defensive infielder like Arroyo who didn't turn 20 until August, but he really came on strong over the final three-plus months of the season. The young switch hitter had a strong first full season in the Reds organization after getting traded from Seattle at last year's deadline in the Luis Castillo trade. Arroyo should head to Double-A next year as a 20-year-old.

ImpactDipoto also pointed out that the team is in Tampa Bay while Kelenic is across the country on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma, making the logistics of an activation this weekend difficult. The Mariners return to Seattle on Monday for the beginning of a homestand and that seems to be the most likely date when Kelenic is activated. Kelenic is 9-for-21 with one home run, one stolen base and an 8:4 K:BB in his first six rehab games with Tacoma. He has been sidelined since mid-July with a fractured left foot.
