Blue Jays place reliever Pop on 15-game injured list with hamstring strain PITTSBURGH - The Toronto Blue Jays have placed right-handed reliever Zach Pop on the 15-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

Impact Pop had to be helped off the field Thursday after injuring his hamstring. The 26-year-old reliever has struggled this season to the tune of a 6.59 ERA and will now be out for at least two weeks. Jay Jackson was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo to fill Pop's spot on the roster.

Impact The right-hander will take the place of Zach Pop after Pop was placed on the 15-day injured list with a hamstring injury. Jackson wasn't particularly effective in Triple-A with a 5.91 ERA over 10.2 innings, but he did strike out 15 hitters in that timeframe. He'll be a low-leverage option to begin his time with the Blue Jays.

Impact Gausman's biggest problems were in the second inning as the Red Sox rallied for a five-run frame. It's been all or nothing for Gausman over his last four starts -- two of them were seven scoreless innings each, and the other two in that span saw him fail to complete five frames.
