Impact Crowe may be better suited for the bullpen, but Pittsburgh's lack of starting options has thrust him into the rotation. He needed 68 pitches (39 for strikes) to navigate his way through three innings. He'll have to earn his way onto the starting roster in 2022 and it wouldn't be surprising to see him demoted to Triple-A.

Impact Crowe has tossed three straight no-decisions and has gone 0-2 with a 5.64 ERA over his last five starts, so he hasn't exactly been a reliable presence on the mound for Pittsburgh. He does own a 2:1 K:BB ratio through 22.1 innings in that span, but at the same time, he hasn't fanned more than five batters in any of those five aforementioned starts.
