Impact Bell suffered a blown engine in practice and did not make a qualifying attempt. Bell would pick his way by Chris Buescher to climb into second-place and then set his sights on leader, Kevin Harvick. Bell would fall just short at the checkered flag to earn the impressive runner-up finish. It was his seventh Top 5 of the season.
