Third at Circuit of the Americas Bell finished third in the Echopark Texas Grand Prix NASCAR Cup Series race at Circuit of the Americas Sunday afternoon.

Impact Bell showed off his road racing talent again Sunday at COTA. The young Joe Gibbs Racing driver didn't lead any laps or race much among the leaders, but he would rise late when it was time to challenge for the win. The overtime restart would give Bell a shot. The final laps would be a fender-beating affair among the leaders. Bell would hold off road-racing ace Chase Elliott to collect an impressive third-place finish. It was his first Top-5 finish of the season.
