Fast Test at Phoenix Blaney was fastest in day 2 of Next-Gen testing at Phoenix Raceway Wednesday afternoon. He turned a fast lap of 131.907 mph.

Impact Ford drivers jumped to the top of the scoring pylon in day 2 of the two-day test at Phoenix Raceway. Four of the Top-5 laps belonged to drivers of that brand. Blaney led the way with the best lap of the two-day test. He edged Joey Logano by just 0.035-seconds around the Arizona oval.

Top-5 Finish at Phoenix Blaney finished fourth in the Season Finale 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway Sunday afternoon.

Impact Blaney wasn't a part of the championship picture, but he'd race among the championship contenders all day. The Penske Racing star led 33 laps early in stage 1 and raced among the Top 10 for the full event. The late laps would see Blaney hold Chase Elliott at bay to collect the impressive fourth-place finish. It was his 11th Top 5 of the season.

Crash and DNF at Kansas Blaney crashed and finished 37th in the Hollywood Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Impact Trouble found a few of the playoff drivers, but Blaney would have it the worst. He would be racing to an apparent Top-10 finish, but would wreck in turn 2 with just 44 laps to go. The damage to the No. 12 Ford would be very extensive and it would be retired to the garage for the day. The DNF was Blaney's third of the season. He drops to fifth-place in the Chase standings at 1-point behind Kyle Busch for the final championship round spot.
