Third at Indianapolis Blaney finished third in the Brickyard 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon. Impact The reigning Cup Series champion stayed on his recent roll with a good performance Sunday at the Brickyard. Blaney started seventh on the grid and raced among the Top 5 the entire race. The Penske Racing star couldn't grab the lead during this 400-mile battle, but Blaney would keep close contact with the leaders throughout. The double overtime ending would give him a shot at the win, but he would do well to hold off Christopher Bell for third-place. Blaney's seventh Top 5 of the season also extended his current four-race Top-10 streak.
