DeAndre Jordan - Won't start against OKC Despite what was announced previously, Jordan won't start against the Thunder on Saturday.
Impact The Nuggets tweeted the lineup with Jordan in at center but later deleted the post as Nikola Jokic will be in the lineup as usual. Jordan has logged just 20 total minutes off the bench in Denver's first two contests, racking up nine points, seven rebounds and one block.

Bruce Brown - Coming off bench Saturday Brown will come off the bench Saturday against the Thunder.
Impact With Jamal Murray (rest/knee) back in the lineup, Brown will resume his expected bench role. In the opener, he played 21 minutes in the blowout loss to the Jazz but posted an impressive 20 points, five assists, one rebound and one steal in 30 minutes during his start against the Warriors on Friday.

DeAndre Jordan - Starting against Thunder Jordan is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Thunder.
Impact Jordan came off the bench in the team's first two games and played a combined 20 minutes, so it's quite surprising to see him in the starting lineup. Even with the start, he shouldn't provide a lot of value offensively and need not be added to daily lineups.

Michael Porter Jr. - Drains five threes in win Porter had 17 points (6-12 FG, 5-10 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 28 minutes during Friday's 128-123 victory over the Warriors.
Impact Nearly all of Porter's points came from beyond the arc, as he hit an efficient five of 10 three-point attempts. He's off to a nice start this season, averaging 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals while shooting 50 percent from the field overall and going 7-for-14 from deep. Porter takes plenty of threes, but he still puts up a high field-goal percentage; for his career, the forward is averaging nearly two made triples per game while shooting over 51 percent from the field overall.

Impact Jamal Murray sat out the contest as he eases back into action after missing all of last season with an ACL tear, and Brown was the surprise starter in his place. The latter stepped in admirably, finishing second on the team with 20 points while dishing five dimes. Brown was very efficient from the field with an 8-for-10 line, which isn't particularly surprising since he's shot over 50 percent each of the past two campaigns. Despite the strong performance, Brown will likely move back to the bench when Murray presumably returns for Denver's next contest, so there's no need to rush to the waiver wire.

Nikola Jokic - Hangs triple-double on Warriors Jokic provided 26 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 11-11 FT), 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 34 minutes during Friday's 128-123 victory over Golden State.
Impact Jokic needed only two games this season to notch his first triple-double, as he led Denver in points, rebounds and assists in the big win. Though the back-to-back MVP didn't collect any defensive stats and turned the ball over five times, his ability to impact the game in multiple ways was once again on display against the reigning champions. Jokic is averaging 26.5 points, 8.0 assists and 8.0 boards through his first two games of the campaign. He's shooting 63.3 percent from the field and has made all 13 of his free-throw tries.

Impact This is a bit of a surprising development, as it seemed likely either Bones Hyland or Ish Smith would get the nod with Murray sidelined. Instead, Brown will get the initial run with the starting unit and figures to see a minutes bump as a result. Brown played 21 minutes in the opener and finished with eight points, one rebound and one assist. He could be in line to increase his assist totals Friday if the Nuggets operate with him on the ball.
