Out indefinitely Hayward (foot) is out indefinitely and will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks, per the Hornets' official release. Impact Hayward returned to action April 2 for the first time since Feb. 7, but the veteran forward presumably aggravated the left foot injury during the contest, as he was ruled out for the next four games. The Hornets' update all but confirms that assumption, and Hayward will now definitely be sidelined for the play-in tournament and will likely be out for the first round of the playoffs if Charlotte advances. His absence shouldn't impact the Hornets' rotation, as Charlotte has had Hayward available for just four games since Jan. 21.
