Herbert Jones - Renders lock-down defense vs. Spurs Jones produced 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 113-103 win over San Antonio.
Impact Jones was largely responsible for covering Dejounte Murray in the play-in contest, and he held the star guard to a 5-for-19 shooting line and a modest 16 points. Jones recorded a pair of blocks and steals and added a 5-for-7 shooting line along with 12 points on offense. The rookie could be a difference-maker in Friday's play-in contest against the Clippers as he's likely to be tasked with the tough defensive assignment of containing Paul George.

Impact Ingram battled foul trouble in the first half but still put up 13 points before halftime. He added 14 more points in the second half and finished as the Pelicans' second-leading scorer behind CJ McCollum (32 points). Ingram rounded out his stat line with five boards and five dimes, and will look to carry over this strong performance into Friday's matchup against the Clippers.

CJ McCollum - Leads Pelicans to play-in win McCollum logged 32 points (12-23 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and one block over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 113-103 victory over San Antonio.
Impact McCollum set the tone for New Orleans early, scoring 27 first-half points to carry the team to a double-digit halftime lead. Though he faded somewhat in the second half, the star guard finished with a team-leading 32 points on a 12-for-23 shooting line. McCollum also led the Pelicans with seven assists and a plus-16 mark during his time on the court. He'll try to carry New Orleans into an improbable spot in the playoffs in the team's matchup versus the Clippers on Friday.
