Greg Brown III - Returning to G League The Trail Blazers assigned Brown to the G League's Ontario Clippers on Sunday, Aaron J. Fentress of The Oregonian reports.
Impact Brown hasn't gotten off the bench in Portland's last two contests, so the 21-year-old will head to the G League to get more meaningful playing time. He isn't a two-way player, but Brown is nonetheless expected to spend considerable time in the G League this season since Portland doesn't have a spot available for him in the NBA rotation.

Impact Nurkic had a quiet night offensively, recording his lowest shot-attempt total in over a month. However, he was a beast on the boards, pulling down 15 rebounds -- two short of his season-best mark. Nurkic also swatted two shots in the contest and has recorded at least one block in eight straight games.

Anfernee Simons - Impressive in sidekick role again Simons ended Saturday's 124-118 win over the Timberwolves with 31 points (13-22 FG, 5-10 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist over 35 minutes.
Impact While Simons finished second on the team to Damian Lillard (36 points) for team high-scoring honors, the former had the better shooting game, nailing 13 of 22 field-goal tries. Nearly half of his attempts and makes came from three-point range, and Simons has now converted five or more triples in three of his past four games. It was an impressive bounce-back effort after he scored a season-low six points on 3-for-12 shooting against Denver on Thursday.
