Impact Gibson experienced some limitations last week, when he missed practice Thursday before wrapping up Week 4 prep with a limited session. He eventually was active this past Sunday in Atlanta, turning 16 touches into 75 yards from scrimmage and one TD on a 56 percent share of the offensive snaps. Meanwhile, J.D. McKissic received a season-high 12 touches for 59 total yards and the game-winning score on 40 percent of the plays on offense. There's been no indication Gibson is in danger of sitting out Sunday against the Saints, but the situation bears monitoring as the week goes on.

Finds end zone in Week 4 win Gibson (shin) rushed 14 times for 63 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 34-30 win over the Falcons.
Impact Gibson didn't seem limited by the shin injury that cropped up late in the week, as he got 14 of Washington's 23 rushing attempts by running backs. He scored his first rushing touchdown of the season from two yards out in the second quarter. Talks of a three-down role for Gibson have fizzled out with J.D. McKissic -- who caught the game-winning touchdown in the final minute -- cementing himself as the team's third-down back of choice, but the second-year pro out of Memphis still sees plenty of usage as Washington's early-down workhorse and goal-line back. Up next for Gibson is a Week 5 visit from the Saints.
