Held out of practice again Gibson (shin) isn't practicing Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. Impact Gibson revealed last week that he's been playing through a hairline fracture in his shin, noting that the injury isn't especially painful. It hasn't impacted his workload so far, though Gibson still cedes obvious passing downs to backfield mate J.D. McKissic. In terms of his rushing workload, Gibson has played two games since the shin injury was first listed, putting up a 14-63-1 rushing line against Atlanta and then a 20-60-2 line against New Orleans (with two targets in both games). He gets a nice matchup this week against a floundering Chiefs defense, though there is risk of McKissic getting more work if Patrick Mahomes and Co. jump out to a big start. The shin injury, however, isn't likely to impact Gibson's workload.
