Marquez Valdes-Scantling - Picks up back injury Valdes-Scantling departed Sunday's game at Detroit with a back injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Impact Prior to heading to the locker room in the second quarter, Valdes-Scantling was unable to haul in his only target from Aaron Rodgers. The Packers thus are left with Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, Equanimeous St. Brown, Juwann Winfree and Amari Rodgers at wide receiver for the rest of Week 18. Valdes-Scantling will have a week to rest and recover in advance of the team's playoff opener in the divisional round.

Impact Bakhtiari's long road to recovery has ended, as he will suit up for the first time since 2020. How much he plays remains to be seen, but this is a big step forward for Bakhtiari, and a big boost to the Packers' offensive line as they move into the playoffs after Week 18.

Impact Alexander was activated from IR ahead of Week 17 and spent time in COVID protocols this week, but his shoulder will still keep him out Sunday against the Lions. The hope still remains that he will return in time for the playoffs. In his absence, Eric Stokes and Rasul Douglas will still man the starting cornerback spots.

Dillon is the clear top option between himself and Taylor, but it's unclear if the team will ride the former or opt for a split of the RB snaps and touches with the latter. No matter, Dillon has handled at least 50 percent of offensive snaps in five of the last seven games, a span in which he averaged 16.6 touches for 80 yards from scrimmage and scored six total TDs.

Impact Jones has been tending to a knee injury that forced him to sit out Week 11 at Minnesota. While he's been able to play in the meantime and again was limited in practice during Week 18 prep, the Packers won't take any chances with their No. 1 running back, allowing him two weeks to rest up before the team's playoff opener in the divisional round. With Jones on the sideline, AJ Dillon and Patrick Taylor are the available options out of Green Bay's backfield in the regular-season finale.
