Za'Darius Smith - Set to practice this week Coach Matt LaFleur said Monday he expects Smith (back) to return to practice Wednesday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Smith has been on injured reserve since playing limited snaps in the season opener, and he subsequently underwent back surgery in early October. The 29-year-old hasn't practiced in months, so he'll likely need to work his way back into game shape before having a chance of being activated. The Packers have a bye for the opening round of the playoffs, and it remains to be seen if Smith will be ready to play in the first postseason game.

Mason Crosby - First miss since Week 12 Crosby made a 36-yard field goal and went 1-for-2 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 37-30 loss to the Lions.
Impact Crosby had not missed since misfiring on a field goal attempt against the Rams in Week 12, but his streak of 24 straight successful kicks came to an end when he pushed the point-after-touchdown try to the right after the Packers' second score of the game. The four points Crosby finished with Sunday were his fewest in a game since he was limited to just one point in the Packers' Week 9 loss to the Chiefs.

Impact St. Brown could have had a huge day had quarterback Jordan Love had a little more time to find him on a deep route late in the contest, but he wound up making only a minor mark in the box score. St. Brown could see more snaps than he is accustomed to in the playoffs if fellow wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) misses any time, but even in that scenario he would remain behind Davante Adams, Allen Lazard and almost certainly Randall Cobb (groin).

Josiah Deguara - Gets loose late in loss Deguara was targeted four times and caught three passes for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-30 loss to the Lions.
Impact Deguara did nearly all his damage on a 62-yard catch and run in the fourth quarter of Sunday's contest, but when it was all said and done he tied his career high for catches in a game and set a new career best in the receiving yards department. He led Packers tight ends in snaps six times over the team's last seven games and will head into the postseason as the team's top option at his position.

Patrick Taylor - Finds paydirt in finale Taylor ran 11 times for 53 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for three yards in Sunday's 37-30 loss to the Lions.
Impact Taylor and AJ Dillon shared the backfield duties with Aaron Jones (knee) sidelined, and the former set career highs in carries and rushing yards while tallying both the first receptions and touchdown of his career. Jones should return for the Packers' playoff opener in two weeks, which will presumably put Taylor back in a bit role.
