Jordan Love - Struggles in extended appearance Love completed 10 of 17 pass attempts for 134 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against Detroit on Sunday.
Impact Love played off the bench and mostly with backups after Aaron Rodgers played with most of the starters. Love saw a lot of pressure and arguably was at minimal fault for one of his interceptions, which was tipped at the line and then again by his wide receiver before the defense snagged it, but his box score also benefited from a lot of yards after the catch on a 62-yard touchdown pass to tight end Josiah Deguara. It's disappointing that Love didn't produce any better, even if he was playing with Green Bay's backups, and he needs to get better at identifying pressure pre-snap so that he isn't so constantly caught by surprise after the snap. Love won't turn 24 until November and still has time to develop, but it's safe to say that the Packers wish he was farther along in that development than he appears to be at the moment.

Allen Lazard - Scores twice Lazard caught five passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns on six targets against Detroit on Sunday.
Impact Lazard's role is somewhat limited with Davante Adams ahead of him and a strong backfield drawing usage in Green Bay, but he's a valuable role player for the Packers and probably their second-most versatile target behind Adams. While Lazard lacks the speed to threaten deep like Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Lazard's ability to line up all over at wide receiver and even sometimes in a tight end-like look makes him viable for a variety of routes in the Packers offense. He's been especially valuable for the Packers in scoring range this year, finishing the regular season with 513 yards and eight touchdowns on just 60 targets (66.7 percent catch rate, 8.6 YPT) in 15 games.

AJ Dillon - Quiet start Dillon ran for 63 yards on 14 carries and caught a four-yard pass on one target against Detroit on Sunday.
Impact Dillon started in place of Aaron Jones (knee) and played effectively enough, but his appearance was abbreviated in this meaningless game, denying him the pass-catching production he would normally project for here in a matchup like this. Fourth-string back Patrick Taylor took over for Dillon for most of the second half and turned 11 carries into 53 yards and a touchdown. Jones should be back by the time the Packers exit their first-round bye in the playoffs, so Dillon should return to an off-the-bench role at that point. He finishes the regular season with 803 yards and five touchdowns on 187 carries (4.3 YPC) while catching 34 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns on 37 targets (91.9 percent catch rate, 8.5 YPT).

Davante Adams - Secures team record Adams caught six passes for 55 yards on seven targets against Detroit on Sunday.
Impact Adams could have done much more if he and Aaron Rodgers had played the entire game, but the main reason for Adams playing at all was arguably to get him the Green Bay single-season receiving yardage record, which he successfully secured with this box score. Adams finishes the regular season with 123 receptions for 1,553 yards (beating Jordy Nelson's 1,519 from 2014) and 11 touchdowns in 16 games, and now he'll prepare for Green Bay's playoff run, beginning with a first-round bye.

Impact Rodgers took a surprising amount of pressure in this brief appearance, getting sacked three times, but this was otherwise little more than a walkthrough for the MVP candidate before letting Jordan Love take over the rest of the meaningless game. He finishes the year with 366 completions on 531 pass attempts, producing 4,115 yards, 38 touchdowns and four interceptions in 16 games. Guessing the future with Rodgers has been a rocky task in recent years, but conventionally a team doesn't willingly part with an MVP-winning quarterback, even if he's less than universally beloved. The previously assumed alternative, the former first-round pick Love, was less than convincing in this game, completing 10 of 17 pass attempts for 134 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. The Packers will prepare for the playoffs for the time being, and they'll await their opponent following a first-round bye as the top seed in the NFC.
