Nyheim Hines - Logs 89 all-purpose yards in opener Hines rushed nine times for 34 yards, secured six of eight targets for 48 yards and returned a punt for seven yards in the Colts' 28-16 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.
Impact The versatile back turned in a trademark effort and even saw a nice rushing workload, although he naturally remained a clear complementary option behind Jonathan Taylor. Hines also tied Taylor for the team lead in catches while leading Indianapolis in targets in a game that tilted favorably to his hurry-up/two-minute offense skills as it unfolded. Hines' quick chemistry with new quarterback Carson Wentz was encouraging as well, and he'll look to put together another productive performance in Week 2 against the Rams.

Impact Pascal stepped up as a red-zone threat for new quarterback Carson Wentz with T.Y. While chunk plays are far from his forte, the veteran wideout brings a sure-handed, reliable presence that it wouldn't be difficult to envision Wentz getting very comfortable with as the season unfolds. Impact As his final line indicates, Taylor found running room to mostly be at a premium against a stingy Seahawks front. However, his reception tally drew even with that of backfield mate Nyheim Hines', while his receiving yardage total paced Indianapolis. Taylor's overall usage was particularly encouraging, considering Hines' relatively robust workload of nine carries was largely a byproduct of game script and Taylor was just as involved as a receiver as his teammate. Taylor and his fantasy managers will now hope for a more favorable game script in a Week 2 matchup against the Rams.
