Carson Wentz - No limitations expected Week 1 Wentz isn't expected to face any restrictions in his Colts debut Sunday against the Seahawks, despite undergoing foot surgery Aug. 2, Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network... Impact While the Colts are expected to proceed with caution with Wentz to whatever extent they can, head coach Frank Reich said Friday that the signal-caller won't be "limited in any way" less than six weeks after undergoing a procedure that was expected to sideline the quarterback for 5-to-12 weeks. Although Reich has been pleased with Wentz's mobility in the pocket in recent practices, the Colts aren't expected to include any designed runs for the 28-year-old in their Week 1 game plan, even though he's proven to be a solid contributor as a rusher in past seasons. Instead, Reich ideally wants to lean on the Jonathan Taylor-led ground game and have Wentz to play from the pocket for most of the day, though Wentz could face more pressure than usual on passing downs with top left tackle Eric Fisher (Achilles) already ruled out for the season opener. Wentz will also be without one of his key pass catchers for at least three first three games after veteran wideout T.Y. Hilton (neck) was placed on injured reserve Sept. 2.
