Impact Howard has been unable to take the practice field for two consecutive days as he continues to deal with shoulder and groin injuries. He'll presumably need to practice in some capacity Friday if he hopes to play Sunday against the Jaguars.

Jacoby Brissett - Remains limited in practice Brissett (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Impact Brissett turned in limited practices Wednesday and Thursday while managing the sore hamstring, seemingly putting him in a good spot to be available Sunday against the Jaguars in London even if he happens to be less than 100 percent. Whether Brissett draws a fourth straight start remains to be seen, however, as the Dolphins designated Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) to return from injured reserve Tuesday and could activate him in advance of the Week 6 contest. The Dolphins would likely make a decision on Tagovailoa's status by Friday or Saturday, but if the second-year signal-caller is available, Brissett would likely move back into the No. 2 role.

Preston Williams - Added to report with groin injury Williams was a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a groin injury, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Impact Williams didn't appear on the Dolphins' initial Week 6 injury report released Wednesday, so his addition to the report a day later could be an indication that he tweaked his groin during Thursday's session. After sitting out three of the Dolphins' first four games while working back from early season foot and knee issues, Williams appeared to have a breakthrough performance Week 5 against the Buccaneers, playing 73 percent of the offensive snaps while catching three of five targets for 60 yards. If Williams can move past his groin injury and gain clearance for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London, he should hold down a regular role in three-receiver sets.

Tua Tagovailoa - Expected to face Jaguars Tagovailoa (ribs) is expected to suit up for Sunday's game in Jacksonville, barring any setbacks, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Tagovailoa returned to practice Wednesday, and though he still has yet to be fully activated from IR, it appears that he's trending in the right direction to return after missing three games due to fractured ribs. Still, the Dolphins will continue to monitor Tagovailoa, and his pain tolerance, before making a final decision. Will Fuller (finger) will need to remain on IR for at least two more contests, and DeVante Parker (shoulder) has yet to resume practicing after sitting out Week 5. Meanwhile, Jacoby Brissett (hamstring) was limited Wednesday.
