Impact Alie-Cox started at tight end and played on 28 of of the offense's 70 snaps, but went out on seven routes. Kylen Granson ran 18 routes (one reception) by comparison as the Colts continue to divide up the playing time among three or four tight ends.

Impact Between Alie-Cox, Drew Ogletree and Kylen Granson, only one target was earned in Week 9. None of the three is likely to garner much fantasy value if they can't separate themselves in terms of playing time, and Alie-Cox specifically must clear the additional hurdle of being the one most frequently assigned blocking duties.

Impact Alie-Cox had some relevance in the passing game the past two weeks with Joe Flacco at quarterback (six receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown) but was back to mostly a blocking tight end with Anthony Richardson as the starter. Alie-Cox has just one reception in games started by Richardson.

Impact Alie-Cox wasn't on the field for Indy's first play offense, but played the most snaps among the tight ends. He played on 34 of the offense's 70 snaps (Drew Ogletree played 21 and Kylen Granson played 17) and went out on the most routes (16 compared to 8 for Ogletree and 13 for Granson). Alie-Cox has seen an uptick in targets with Joe Flacco at quarterback with four each of the past two games. While that may not be sustainable with how the Colts divide the workload evenly between three or four tight ends, Alie-Cox may be worth a look in deep formats when Flacco starts.

Impact Alie-Cox didn't play more than usual (33% of the offense's snaps) but had a season-high four targets with Joe Flacco taking over at quarterback. He had three targets total through the first four games. While Alie-Cox could get more targets if Flacco remains the starter, he's not likely to provide much more outside of an occasional red-zone target. Even then, the Colts still divide playing time and targets evenly between three tight ends.

Despite playing the most snaps, Alie-Cox continued to operate primarily as a blocker and failed to record a catch for the third time through four games. The 31-year-old veteran should not be trusted for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 5 matchup against the Jaguars.

Impact Alie-Cox would be the blocking tight end in a two-TE set that the depth chart lists with Kylen Granson as the other starter. Alie-Cox remains the team's top blocking tight end, but he's faded from the passing game. He had just 22 targets in 17 games for 13 receptions for 161 yards in 17 games last season. At 6-5, he has the size to be a Red Zone target, but the Colts split targets between multiple tight ends giving him little upside.
