Impact Alie-Cox had 24 receptions for 316 yards and four touchdowns while playing all 17 games. It looked like Alie-Cox was going to become a large factor in the offense, but he had just four receptions in a seven-game stretch in the middle of the season. He's set to become a free agent and could have a larger role if re-signed if Jack Doyle retires.

Impact Alie-Cox matched his highest target total of the season, though he wasn't able to deliver major production with the opportunity. Though Jack Doyle was active after dealing with ankle and knee issues throughout the week, he may have suited up at less than full strength. If that remains the case for a Week 18 matchup against Jacksonville, Alie-Cox could maintain some increased volume.

Still, it looked like Alie-Cox was emerging as the top tight end in the passing game over Jack Doyle, but Doyle has six receptions and two touchdowns the last three games compared to two receptions and no touchdowns for Alie-Cox. Since they've both had the typical pattern of playing time, it remains a guessing game which tight end may be a factor in the passing game and red zone.

Still, there wasn't a significant change in either tight end's workload, so we wouldn't be too worried about his lack of receptions. Alie-Cox is a red-zone threat, but his upside is limited given his low target share.
