La'Mical Perine - Pressed into action by injuries Perine rushed seven times for 28 yards and wasn't targeted in the passing game in Sunday's 30-9 loss to the Saints. Impact Austin Walter (illness) joined Michael Carter (ankle) and Tevin Coleman (concussion) on the sidelines before he could play a snap, leaving Perine to work as the power complement to Ty Johnson's finesse in the backfield. Perine was more effective than Johnson (six carries for 17 yards) on the ground, but he wasn't involved as a pass-catcher, and the Jets never got close enough to give Perine any carries by the goal line. Even if none of the injured running backs return, New York's struggles offensively and Perine's limited skill set will make him tough to trust in Week 15 against the Dolphins.
