Impact Riley has performed well in recent weeks as New York's starting free safety following Marcus Maye's season-ending Achilles injury. He has 28 tackles and a sack over the past four games. Riley compiled double-digit tackles in a game for the first time in his career in this one.

Eddy Pineiro - Accurate in Gang Green debut Pineiro made all three of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 30-9 loss to the Saints.
Impact There weren't many positives for New York to take out of its latest blowout loss, but Pineiro's accurate performance in his Jets debut was a silver lining for a team that's tried three different kickers in its last three games. Pineiro connected from 36, 46 and 36 yards out, and Gang Green's kicking job will likely be his for the remainder of the season if he can build on this strong first impression.

C.J. Mosley - Racks up 17 tackles in Week 14 loss Mosley (back) totaled a game-high 17 tackles (11 solo) in Sunday's 30-9 loss to New Orleans.
Impact The Saints recorded 44 rushing attempts for 203 yards and three touchdowns, so Mosley got plenty of opportunities to rack up tackles as the Jets defense spent the majority of the game on the field. This was a season high in tackles for the 29-year-old linebacker, who has 30 tackles in the last two games and seven separate double-digit tackling performances this season.

Denzel Mims - Held without a catch by Saints Mims failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 30-9 loss to the Saints.
Impact Mims has just one catch over the past two weeks despite Corey Davis (groin) missing most of one and all of the other and Elijah Moore (quadriceps) missing all of the latter. There should be ample playing time for Mims down the stretch with Davis done for the year and Moore out until at least Week 17, but Mims' floor remains extremely low due to his own struggles and those of rookie quarterback Zach Wilson.

Vyncint Smith - No catches in season debut Smith failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 30-9 loss to the Saints.
Impact Smith failed to make a mark on the contest after being elevated from the practice squad for his season debut. Fellow practice squad elevation D.J. Montgomery was much more active, catching three of six targets for 36 yards. The injury-riddled Jets may elevate both receivers again in Week 15 against the Dolphins, but Montgomery will likely get first crack over Smith if they choose only one.

Ryan Griffin - Two catches in latest quiet game Griffin (ankle/knee) caught two of three targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 30-9 loss to the Saints.
Impact Griffin rarely comes off the field due to New York's lack of healthy alternatives at tight end, but the high snap count rarely results in many targets. He hasn't reached 40 yards in a game this season, and Griffin has caught more than three passes only once, totaling four receptions against the Colts back in Week 9.

D.J. Montgomery - Three catches in NFL debut Montgomery made his regular-season debut and caught three of six targets for 36 yards in Sunday's 30-9 loss to New Orleans.
Impact Montgomery didn't make much of an impact, and his production came after the game was well out of reach. With the Jets shorthanded at wide receiver, it wouldn't be surprising if they elevated Montgomery from the practice squad again in Week 15 against Miami before making a decision on whether or not to offer the 25-year-old wideout a contract.

Impact Austin Walter (illness) joined Michael Carter (ankle) and Tevin Coleman (concussion) on the sidelines before he could play a snap, leaving Perine to work as the power complement to Ty Johnson's finesse in the backfield. Perine was more effective than Johnson (six carries for 17 yards) on the ground, but he wasn't involved as a pass-catcher, and the Jets never got close enough to give Perine any carries by the goal line. Even if none of the injured running backs return, New York's struggles offensively and Perine's limited skill set will make him tough to trust in Week 15 against the Dolphins.
