Impact Mitchell didn't get much help from the usually-creative run designer Kyle Shanahan in this one. A good portion of the 23-year-old's carries were inside zone runs out of shotgun formations directly into the human wall that is known better as Aaron Donald. Mitchell was able to break free on a huge catch and run in an eventual loss, putting an end to an impressive rookie campaign (1,100 combined yards and six touchdowns over 11 regular-season games). It is unclear what the 49ers backfield will look like in 2022, but Mitchell clearly established himself as the team's best option, making him a strong fantasy asset heading into next season's drafts.
