Impact McLaughlin should be good to go for Sunday's Week 1 opener against the Commanders. The 28-year-old kicker made a career-best 93.5 percent of his field goal attempts last season, going 29 of 31 while making all 33 of his extra points. The big year earned McLaughlin a three-year, $12.3 million deal in the offseason.

The team can shed any questions about his status Friday by not giving him a designation ahead Sunday's game against the Commanders, which would put him in the mix for targets along with Jalen McMillan behind starting wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
