Impact Coach Sean McVay didn't unveil the first-team skill-position players this preseason, but Jefferson himself may have missed time anyway due to what was believed to be at the time a false positive test for COVID-19 and a right arm issue that caused him to wear a brace. Jefferson is healthy for the regular season and is set to serve as L.A.'s No. 3 wide receiver behind Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. However, Jefferson may have to contend for reps with free-agent addition DeSean Jackson and 2021 second-round pick Tutu Atwell.

Impact It appears Jefferson tested positive for the virus, though there's been no confirmation that's the case. The 25-year-old figures to remain away from the team until the issue is settled, or until he clears the health and safety protocols if a positive result is confirmed.

More comfortable ahead of Year 2 Jefferson has established himself as a legitimate receiver who head coach Sean McVay is counting on entering the 2021 season, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN reports.

Impact The 57th overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, Jefferson wasn't a major factor in the Los Angeles offense as a rookie. He recorded just 19 receptions for 220 yards and a touchdown. However, with Josh Reynolds signing with the Titans during the offseason, there's an opportunity for Jefferson to climb the depth chart. His fantasy value is still a little murky, though, considering the Rams signed field-stretcher DeSean Jackson, and they also drafted speedster Tutu Atwell in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Still, Jefferson is definitely a receiver to keep tabs on and could be a sneaky fantasy contributor, especially in DFS formats over the course of the campaign.
