Finds end zone against Lions Jefferson caught four of seven targets for 43 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 28-19 win over Detroit. He played a season-high 61 offensive snaps, too.

Impact With the Lions leading to start the game, and then again in the third quarter, Los Angeles leaned of three-receiver sets more frequently. It resulted in Jefferson's highest snap share of the season, as he played 94 percent of the offensive snaps. Still, it was another big day for Cooper Kupp (10-156-2), and Robert Woods caught all six of his targets for 70 yards. Additionally, tight end Tyler Higbee garnered eight targets. So, while it was encouraging to see Jefferson's playing time jump and have him find the end zone Sunday, more week-to-week inconsistency is probably ahead.

Quiet outing against Giants Jefferson caught three of his four targets for 18 yards during Sunday's 38-11 win over New York.

Impact There haven't been enough targets left over for Jefferson after Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Tyler Higbee and Darrell Henderson all receive their share, and It's unlikely Jefferson garners more looks in the immediate future, either. Additionally, deep-threat DeSean Jackson will continue in his role. It will probably take an injury to a fellow pass catcher for Jefferson to see an uptick in target volume, and he projects to remain an inconsistent fantasy asset in the meantime.

Impact Wit the Rams making a concerted effort to get fellow wide receiver Robert Woods (14 targets) more involved and Cooper Kupp (10 targets) receiving his usual steady volume, there weren't many looks left over for Jefferson. While there's no doubt Jefferson is firmly behind Woods and Kupp on the pecking order, the second-year player looks fiirmly positioned as the No. 3 receiver on the depth chart, as he's played more snaps than DeSean Jackson in every game this season. Still, Jackson's ability to stretch the field as a deep threat also cuts into Jefferson's fantasy upside. With all that in mind, expect more peaks and valleys from the 25-year-old Jefferson moving forward.

Impact The Arizona secondary did a good job containing Cooper Kupp, and as a result it was Jefferson who led the Rams in catches and receiving yards. The 90 yards were a season high for the second-year receiver while the TD was his second in four games, and Jefferson is emerging as a reliable secondary option for Matthew Stafford heading into a Week 5 clash with the Seahawks.

Impact The second-year wideout played 50 of 65 offensive snaps and is up to seven receptions for 136 yards and a touchdown through the first three weeks. Jefferson has been a fixture in the offense, but outside of his 67-yard touchdown catch Week 1, he's failed to move the fantasy needle. Los Angeles quarterback Matthew Stafford has clicked with fellow wide receiver Cooper Kupp to the tune of 25 receptions, 367 yards and five touchdowns already, and with Robert Woods and DeSean Jackson also on the depth chart, there might not be enough targets left over for Jefferson to be a consistent weekly contributor.

Impact After a solid fantasy performance in Week 1, Jefferson came crashing back down to earth. The 25-year-old wide receiver finished fourth in targets on the Rams for the second week in a row, but his offensive snap percentage jumped from 69 percent in Week 1 to 92 percent in Week 2. In a high-powered offense, Jefferson will have some strong performances, but predicting when those breakout performances may happen is tough. Impact Coach Sean McVay didn't unveil the first-team skill-position players this preseason, but Jefferson himself may have missed time anyway due to what was believed to be at the time a false positive test for COVID-19 and a right arm issue that caused him to wear a brace. Jefferson is healthy for the regular season and is set to serve as L.A.'s No. 3 wide receiver behind Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. However, Jefferson may have to contend for reps with free-agent addition DeSean Jackson and 2021 second-round pick Tutu Atwell.
