Valeri Nichushkin - Possible return Friday Nichushkin (lower body) will not play Thursday against Minnesota but it's possible he will play Friday against Edmonton, per Corey Masisak.
Impact Nichushkin has missed the past three games because of injury, he's played 48 games this season and has recorded 26 goals and 24 assists. The 29-year-old will likely be slotted into the first or second line when he returns to action. He will look to produce on the power play for the Avalanche in his return where he has 15 of his 26 goals.

Alexandar Georgiev - Starting Friday Georgiev will be between the pipes on the road Friday against the Oilers, per Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports.
Impact Georgiev's stats have decreased a bit in 2023-24 but not substantially, he's posted a .901 save percentage and a 37-15-4 record in 58 starts. The 28-year-old will be the predominant starter during the playoffs but will look to carry some momentum into the postseason. He will have a tough matchup against Edmonton who's 25-8-3 at home.

Justus Annunen - Facing Wild Annunen will patrol the visiting crease in Minnesota on Thursday, per Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports.
Impact Annunen has provided the Avalanche will more than adequate back up goaltending this season, as he is 6-4-1 with a 2.26 GAA and a .927 save percentage. The Wild are averaging 3.03 goals, 19th in the NHL.

Impact Lehkonen worked hard on the forecheck, keeping the pressure up in the Columbus zone, which led to Chris Wagner's tally early in the third period. It was the second straight game with a point for Lehkonen, who scored a power-play goal in Saturday's win over Nashville. He's posted 19 points (10 goals, nine assists) in the 26 games since returning from a neck injury in January.
