ImpactPowell scored an own goal Saturday, an unfortunate bounce off him off a Columbus cross in the 75th minute, a goal which sparked Columbus' comeback win. It was a brutal way to end the season for Powell, especially given he played a decent match outside of the mistake as he recorded season highs in clearances (five) and blocked shots (three). He finishes the season with one assist and three clean sheets in 27 appearances (12 starts).

ImpactBarreal provided the assist for Luciano Acosta's goal just before halftime Saturday, a goal that took the 2-0 lead into the break. However that lead would eventually be erased by Columbus, making Saturday Barreal's final came of the season. He had the best season of his career with Cincinnati this year as he scored seven goals, provided seven assists and kept six clean sheets in 38 matches (36 starts).

ImpactBoupendza assisted the opening goal of Saturday's match as his cross found Brandon Vazquez in 14th minute to take the 1-0 lead. While Columbus would eventually come back and win the match, Boupendza had a productive season with Cincinnati after joining the club in the summer from Al-Shabab. He scored six goals and provided one assist in 14 appearances (eight starts) and will look to build upon that with a full season in 2024.

That lead would eventually be squandered though, and Acosta's clear lack of energy in extra time helped Columbus move onto the MLS Cup Final.
