Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez - Released from Seattle Ocampo-Chavez's contract option for 2023 has been declined by the Sounders and he will become a free agent in November.

Impact Ocampo-Chavez only made three appearances for Seattle's senior team back in 2019 after coming up through the academy, and the 20-year-old forward will now enter free agency during the offseason.

Will Bruin - Released from Seattle Bruin's contract option for 2023 was declined by the Sounders and he will become a free agent in November.

Impact Bruin tallied 32 goals and 14 assists across 154 appearances in all competitions during his six seasons in Seattle, but he hasn't really been a consistent starter in league play since Raul Ruidiaz arrived in 2018. The 33-year-old still netted three goals in 24 games (10 starts) in 2022, but he will be moving on from the club in the offseason.

Impact Chu took a step up in his first full season with the Sounders, recording two assists in 25 MLS appearances (eight starts) along the attacking line. The 22-year-old is still very much a backup option heading into 2023 behind Jordan Morris and Cristian Roldan on the wings, but he should continue getting opportunities to prove himself.

The 27-year-old still has an outside shot of making the U.S. roster for the World Cup, but either way he should remain a regular starter for his club team in 2023.

Impact Vargas made 13 appearances (10 starts) in his breakout campaign in MLS, taking over an injured Joao Paulo's place in the XI in early May and impressing in defensive midfield. But Vargas started dealing with back issues in late June and he has not featured at all since. The 17-year-old will just hope to be fit and available for the start of 2023, even if he would likely be the first-choice backup to Albert Rusnak and Paulo when everyone is healthy.
