Impact Arceneaux earned his first collegiate start in the AAC championship game Sunday with Marcus Sasser unable to go due to a groin injury. The 6-5 freshman played a career-high 35 minutes, which was just the fifth time all year he's played more than 20 minutes. Arceneaux averages four points and 2.5 rebounds across 14.5 minutes per contest this season but stay heavily involved in this one if the Cougars are able to run up the score on the Norse.

Marcus Sasser - Starting Thursday Sasser (groin) is in the starting lineup for Thursday's first-round matchup against Northern Kentucky.

Impact Sasser will make his return to the starting lineup after he was unable to go in the Cougars' conference championship loss to Memphis their last time out. The All-American guard still may not see his full capacity of minutes, especially if the Cougars run out to a big lead. Regardless, the 6-2 senior will give it a go and should be a mainstay in the first five as long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks during the game.

Marcus Sasser - Warming up Thursday Sasser (groin) is going through warmups with the team ahead of Thursday's opening round game against Northern Kentucky, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact Sasser is listed as a game-time decision after missing the AAC title game against Memphis on Sunday with a groin injury. Even if active, it's highly unlikely the 6-2 guard sees his normal dose of minutes unless the Norse manage to make it a tighter game than expected. Terrance Arceneaux got the start in Sasser's absence and logged a career-high 35 minutes. He could continue to see a larger role than usual if Sasser is still limited by the groin issue.
