Impact Wong was Miami's leading scorer, and in fact, he scored nearly one-third of the team's total point haul with an impressive shooting effort. The shooting guard is averaging 15.8 points per game while making 52.1 percent of his field goals -- a career-high mark for him.

While Beverly started 15 of a possible 19 games last season for the Hurricanes, his usage this season currently appears to be relegated to low-leverage situations. In the meantime, Charlie Moore and Isaiah Wong have largely handled backcourt duty, with freshman Bensley Joseph even finding himself in the mix.

Moore will try to keep the momentum going ahead of Saturday's game against Central Florida, though.

Impact Poplar is a consensus three-star recruit that enters a Miami team loaded with upperclassmen, but it seems the door is open to contribute right out of the gates. He recorded five points and six rebounds while seeing the second-most reserve minutes in an Oct. 20 exhibition against Nova Southeastern, so it appears he's already secured a spot in the rotation. He might need an injury to gain fantasy relevance in his freshman season, but those in long-term dynasty formats featuring the ACC may want to take note now.

This was the norm for McGusty last season -- when healthy -- as he averaged 13.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists. Look for the versatile fifth-year senior to resume his starting small forward role and be a key contributor for Miami in 2021-22.

Impact Moore came out hot as one of the latest additions to the Hurricanes, representing his fourth collegiate program in a six-year span. He's averaged double figures in three of those years, most recently putting up 14.4 ppg while with DePaul in 2020-21. His scoring was only matched by Isaiah Wong, who dropped 40 in the contest. Moore was also tied for second on the team in distributing, with his five assists trailing only Kameron McGusty. It appears Moore has arrived on campus and locked down the starting point guard role he was expected to, and he'll have plenty of offensive options when the ball is in his hands.

All signs are pointing to a shift to a reserve role, however, as Miami is bringing in a star transfer player from DePaul in Charlie Moore to play point guard.
