Graham Ashcraft - Still getting up to speed Ashcraft indicated Tuesday that he's still not quite 100 percent after having surgery on his right big toe in September, Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Impact Ashcraft noted that the toe is "starting to get better" but it will "take its time to get feeling right." The right-hander fully expects to be ready to go come Opening Day, but it sounds like he could be a little behind other Reds pitchers in camp. Ashcraft posted a 4.76 ERA and 111:52 K:BB across 145.2 innings covering 26 starts in 2023.

Levi Stoudt - Exits 40-man roster Stoudt was designated for assignment by the Reds on Tuesday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
Impact Stoudt really struggled in 2023, posting a 6.23 ERA at Triple-A Louisville and a 9.58 ERA during his brief time with the Reds. The 26-year-old has been a prospect of some significance in the past, so perhaps he'll draw some interest on waivers.

Nick Lodolo - Projected for rotation Lodolo (leg) is projected to be a member of the rotation, per Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Impact Lodolo was limited to just seven starts in 2023 due to a lower-leg injury and will need to prove he's 100 percent healthy before the Reds hand him the final spot in the rotation. And there will be no shortage of competitors for the job, as Brandon Williamson, Nick Martinez and Connor Phillips are in the mix. Cincinnati's rotation should have the depth to manage any holes in the rotation that typically crop up during the regular season.

Jonathan India - Agrees to two-year contract India signed a two-year, $8.8 million contract with the Reds on Friday to avoid arbitration, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Impact He can earn an additional $2.05 million in 2025 in incentives. India had been arbitration-eligible for the first time and will have one additional year of control in 2026. The 27-year-old slashed .244/.338/.407 with 17 home runs and 14 stolen bases over 119 contests for Cincinnati in 2023. India has only played second base to this point in the majors but is expected to be used at multiple positions in 2024.

Josh Harrison - Nets NRI from Cincinnati Harrison signed a minor-league contract with the Reds on Monday that includes an invitation to spring training, MSM Sports reports.
Impact It's not the best fit for Harrison from a roster perspective given how overloaded the Reds are with infielders. However, the fact that Harrison is from Cincinnati surely factored into his decision. The 36-year-old slashed just .204/.263/.291 in 40 games with the Phillies in 2023 and also spent a brief time at Triple-A Round Rock in the Rangers organization. Harrison could face an uphill battle in cracking Cincinnati's Opening Day roster.
