Poor Finish at Talladega Larson ran into trouble and finished 37th in the YellaWood 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway Monday afternoon. Impact The Hendrick Motorsports star started fifth on the grid and led 3 laps in the early going of this Talladega battle. Larson would run into major trouble on lap 57 when he would get nailed in the driver's door during a four-car crash. The No. 5 Chevrolet would sustain heavy damage but would continue on with repairs. Several laps after Larson's initial trouble he would cut a tire down and hit the wall, causing further damage. He would eventually lose 4 laps to the leaders by the time the race was halted by rain. Larson will need a great performance next weekend at the Charlotte Roval in order to advance in the Chase playoffs.
