Jordan Addison - Looks limited at practice Addison (ankle) was spotted warming up during the portion of Monday's practice open to the media, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Impact Addison appears to be practicing without a helmet Monday, per Alec Lewis of The Athletic, an indication that he's logging a limited session. Nonetheless, it's encouraging to see the second-year wideout handling reps again for the first time since he was carted off the field Aug. 14. The Vikings will likely continue ramping up Addison's activity level ahead of Sunday's regular-season opener on the road against the Giants. Wednesday's first official practice report of the week will shed more light on Addison's status for Week 1.

Kene Nwangwu - Not in Minnesota's plans The Vikings plan to cut or trade Nwangwu on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Impact It's a bit surprising given recent reports about his progress as a running back, but the Vikings apparently weren't won over and may also have doubts about Nwangwu's utility as a kick return under the new rules. The 2021 fourth-round pick could generate some interest from other teams, if only because he has 4.32 speed and three career touchdowns on kick returns. The Vikings are also parting ways with Myles Gaskin, temporarily leaving Aaron Jones and Ty Chandler as the only running backs on their roster. They'll presumably bring someone back later this week or else add a waiver claim and/or free agent.
