Jonathan India - Fills box score against Boston India went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base Wednesday against the Red Sox.

Impact India delivered a pair of RBI singles and also swiped his third base of the season. He's had a disappointing campaign and shown few signs of turning it around lately, as even after this strong effort he is hitting .219 with 10 RBI and six runs scored across 20 games in September. Overall, India has a 96 wRC+ and a .316 wOBA across 392 plate appearances for the season.

Alexis Díaz - Two-out save Diaz tallied the final two outs without allowing a baserunner to earn the save Wednesday against Boston.

Impact Diaz entered the game with runners on first and second to protect a four-run lead. However, he induced a double-play ball to end the game and earn his eighth save of the season. Since the start of September, Diaz has allowed two earned runs across 7.1 innings while also picking up two wins and two saves. He's served as Cincinnati's primary closer since early August and has maintained a 1.84 ERA with a 76:30 K:BB across 58.2 innings for the campaign.

Impact That's a far cry from the sparkling .316/.385/.514 line he put up for Modesto in the Mariners' organization. The California League is much more hitter-friendly than the Florida State League, but that doesn't fully account for the gap in Arroyo's production. He did show some flashes down the stretch, but overall, it seems like Arroyo -- who just turned 19 last month -- may have been pressing a little bit to impress his new organization. It'll be interesting to see whether the Reds decide to start him off back in Single-A next year or challenge him with a move to High-A.

Impact It seems almost unfair that the Reds can have so many of the game's top shortstop prospects, with Marte and Edwin Arroyo having joined Elly De La Cruz and Matt McLain in the organization this summer. Arguably the jewel of the Luis Castillo deal, Marte was just as good with Dayton as he had been with Everett in the Mariners' organization before the trade. His final line for 2022: .279/.371/.458 with 19 homers, 23 steals and a 59:107 BB:K across 115 games. Marte will also get some extra reps in the Arizona Fall League, per RedsMinorLeagues.com.

Impact Senzel sustained the season-ending injury in the Reds' loss to the Red Sox on Tuesday, when he barreled into the outfield wall while trying to make a play on a fly ball. The broken toe is yet another cruel twist of fate for Senzel, who has missed extensive time since first reaching the big leagues in 2019 and hasn't logged more than 410 plate plate appearances in any of his four seasons. Even though Senzel had just started to make strides at the plate over his final six games, he'll still finish with a lowly .231/.297/.306 slash line across 109 games. Senzel should be fully healed for spring training, but he may not be guaranteed an everyday role when the 2023 season begins.
