Nick Lodolo - Beans three Beantown batters Lodolo (4-7) took the loss Tuesday against Boston, allowing three runs on three hits, three walks and three hit batsmen while striking out seven in five innings.

Impact Lodolo allowed one run in each of his last three innings, including solo homers to Rob Refsnyder and J.D. Martinez. He hit three batters Tuesday to bring his season total up to 18 in 92.1 innings. Since the All-Star break, he's compiled a 3.14 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 82:21 K:BB in 66 innings across 11 starts. His next start will likely be early next week in Pittsburgh.

Nick Senzel - Exits game early Senzel left Tuesday's game against Boston early after a hard crash into the outfield wall, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Impact Senzel ran into the center field wall trying to catch a fly ball and immediately fell to the ground after doing so. He attempted to run after being examined by a trainer but couldn't do it and was forced to leave the game. More updates will come as we learn more about his status.

Graham Ashcraft - Set to return Saturday Ashcraft (biceps) is scheduled to start Saturday against the Brewers, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Impact Ashcraft has missed a month of action with his injury, but his absence is expected to last only a few more days. He will be looking to pick up where he left off, having posted a 2.67 ERA over the five starts he made before landing on the injured list.

Matt McLain - Heating up recently McLain has hit .292/.514/.625 with two homers, three steals and an 11:11 BB:K across his last seven games for Double-A Chattanooga.

Impact He'd been slumping pretty badly before this stretch, posting a meager .617 OPS with zero homers over his prior 16 contests. It's been a hot-and-cold season for McLain, but with 17 homers, 27 steals and an .808 OPS in 103 games, he's been able to raise his prospect profile significantly. The caveat, of course, is that he's hitting .229 with a 28.1 percent strikeout rate. It's hard to see him succeeding in the majors without making significant adjustments to cut down on the whiffs.

Stuart Fairchild - Homers in win Fairchild went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a strikeout during Sunday's 3-0 win over the Cardinals.

Impact Fairchild has drawn just five starts for the Reds since the start of September, but he gave the team some insurance runs Sunday with his two-run blast in the sixth inning. His home run was just his fifth of the season, and he hasn't been a very fantasy-relevant player in recent weeks, going just 5-for-13 with a home run, a double, two RBI and a run this month.

Buck Farmer - Earns save Sunday Farmer didn't strike out a batter but pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save during Sunday's win over the Cardinals.

Impact Farmer hasn't had many high-leverage looks out of Cincinnati's bullpen this season, and Sunday's save was just his second of the season and his first since July 31. Although he's worked mainly as a middle reliever, he's been a strong contributor for the Reds over the last month and a half, posting a 0.44 ERA in 20.2 innings over his last 20 appearances. Alexis Diaz has been the favorite for save chances in Cincinnati, but it's possible that Farmer earns a few more high-leverage opportunities down the stretch as long as he continues to limit run production.

Over his six appearances since taking on a rotation spot, the right-hander has posted a 3.95 ERA and 21:4 K:BB in 27.1 innings.
