Swope's 24 lead Indiana State past Belmont 94-64

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Isaiah Swope scored 24 points as Indiana State beat Belmont 94-64 on Saturday.

Swope was 8-of-13 shooting (8 for 11 from 3-point range) for the Sycamores (14-3, 5-1 Missouri Valley Conference). Jayson Kent scored 19 points while shooting 8 for 10, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc, and added seven rebounds and three steals. Ryan Conwell was 5-of-10 shooting (3 for 8 from 3-point range) to finish with 15 points.

Keishawn Davidson finished with 12 points and four steals for the Bruins (11-6, 4-2). Malik Dia added 10 points for Belmont. In addition, Jayce Willingham finished with nine points.

Indiana State took the lead with 18:26 left in the first half and never looked back. The score was 48-32 at halftime, with Swope racking up 18 points. Indiana State extended its lead to 65-32 during the second half, fueled by a 22-3 scoring run. Conwell scored a team-high 11 points in the second half as their team closed out the win.
