Sim Bhullar selected to Team Canada

For a little while last year, Sacramento became Sim City. It appears Sim Country is on its way of heading into production.

From the New Mexico State Aggie's team website:

Bhullar is the NBA's tallest player, though there is a chance he isn't in the league next year considering his contract status and his caliber of play while in the NBA last season. Either way, Bhullar gets a chance to represent his country, which is a pretty awesome honor for anyone to have.

Former NM State basketball stars Sim Bhullar and Daniel Mullings have been selected to play for Team Canada for the 2015 Pan American Games.

The Aggies made the 12-man roster that will play this week at the Ryerson Athletic Centre in Toronto. Both Bhullar and Mullings are from Toronto.

Bhullar, a 7-5 center, made his NBA debut in April for the Sacramento Kings after playing for the Reno Bighorns in the NBA D-League.

He was named the MVP of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament in 2013 and 2014 for his outstanding play. Bhullar averaged 10.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.4 blocked shots per game in his final season as an Aggie in 13-14. Bhullar holds the NM State career record in blocked shots with 186 in two seasons.
