Siakam scores 35 as New Mexico St. tops Oral Roberts

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Pascal Siakam tied his career high with 35 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead New Mexico State to a 76-61 win over Oral Roberts on Monday night.

Siakam was 13 of 23 from the floor. Johnathon Wilkins and Ian Baker had 12 points apiece for New Mexico State (7-5). The Aggies, who hit a scorching 11 of 19 from beyond the arc in their 73-53 win over UTEP on Saturday, hit just 2 of 10 from long range on Monday night.

Oral Roberts jumped out to a 10-3 lead and was up 17-16 midway through the first half. Siakam scored nine straight points and New Mexico State took a 34-33 lead into intermission and never trailed again.

Obi Emegano had 18 points to lead ORU (8-6), which has lost four straight for the first time in two seasons. Brandon Conley added 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
